Specialist programs are offered at Gladstone Park Primary School in the Performing and Visual Arts, Physical Education, Italian, Library and EAL (English as an Additional Language).  The Performing Arts represents a major curriculum focus and includes lessons in violin, percussion and recorder, senior, junior and chamber choirs and annual concerts.

Gladstone Park Primary School was opened in 1970 and is situated in a residential estate in the north-western suburbs of Melbourne, close to Tullamarine Airport.  Enrolments currently sit between 440 and 450 students.  The school is located next to Gladstone Park Secondary College and diagonally across from Taylor Driver Kindergarten.

Gladstone Park Primary School consists of a brand new state of art building and two well maintained buildings incorporating a huge  Library, Computer LAB , Music and Art rooms, general purpose area and canteen. A gymnasium was completed in late 2010. The classrooms are air conditioned, centrally heated and carpeted.  The junior classrooms also have large decks as an extension to their classrooms.

The school has spacious and attractive grounds incorporating adventure play equipment, sporting courts, areas for active and passive play and a large artificial turf fitness area.  Many of the playing areas are protected from the weather by large shade sails.  The Market Garden is a feature of the school grounds and a curriculum focus with the students cultivating and harvesting fruits and vegetables.

The caring and professional staff at Gladstone Park Primary School values all children and is dedicated to providing a high standard of education. This is supported by parent participation in all aspects of school life, including classroom programs, School Council, PFA (Parents and Friends), committees, the canteen and various other school activities.
