At Gladstone Park Primary School, the students are given the opportunity to learn Italian and find out more about another culture, language and way of life.
The students in Grades 4, 5 & 6 are engaged in a variety of activities which incorporate the different learning styles. For example: songs, games, speaking / listening, reading & writing tasks, role plays, ICT, DVDs and films.
The Languages program
utilises the school’s Market Garden by providing classes with the opportunity to pick, sort and preserve olives that are growing. Students are then able to take home and share their olives and newly acquired learning with family members.
As part of the fantastic program that GPPS offers, we provide the students the opportunity to participate in a regional poetry competition.
